Enjoy The Ride

Ok so this is a bit of a brag post, but it is also about how hard work pays off! A couple weeks ago I was on my way to the office like most every other day. Then all the sudden a guy come flying out of nowhere across the highway and I T-Bone him at about 55 mph. I was in my grandpa’s Ford Ranger which I got when he passed away, and the dude I hit was in a big ass F-150 truck. Needless to say his truck had a bent fender and mine was totaled.

The impact was pretty rough on my end, and I was knocked out briefly from the impact and when I woke up, I know my hand was broke. Some people helped me out of my truck and I was still pretty dazed. It took me a few minutes before I knew what had exactly happened. After about 30 minutes the cops got there, they are never in a hurry around here obviously.

The slight funny part pf this is when the cop got there he knew the dumb fuck that pulled out in front of me and started to explain to me that this was probably my fault. The cop’s name is Mark Roddenberry and he is a grade A dumbass! After yelling at him for a while my wife took me to the hospital to get my broke hand set. *Mark if and when you read this, just know you are an asshole and a disgrace to anyone wearing a uniform. *On a side note, an actual cop review the evidence and I was NOT found at fault, big fucking surprise* For a background on the inept leaders in my town, check out this post: City of Dumbasses

Anyway something very good came out of all this, I got to shop for a new car! Well, actually my wife got to shop and Ranna knows exactly what I like! All my life I have had to get a car that I could afford or a car that I just had to have (mini vans, etc), but thanks to my affiliate business I could finally get a car I wanted!

We are pretty close to the guys that run Mark Martin (yes the race car driver) and we recently bought my wife a new Explorer from them. So they let us pick out a car and take it home for a couple days. The first car she bought for me was a 2008 Caliber, which was a little tricked out and had some style. I wasn’t sure I loved it, but it was nice.

A couple days later she took it back and brought me home a beautiful 2008 Dodge Charger. As soon as I saw this car I knew I had to have it! I drove it home from the office that day, and back to the office the next day and was in love! Funny enough she had planned on bringing me a 2009 Mustang the next day to test drive, but after driving this machine I knew I wanted it.

Now, I’ve never been a “car guy” I don’t even know what a HEMI is, but I guess I have a car with one now :) Also, this car is the most comfortable thing I’ve ever drove and it actually makes me enjoy driving again. I’m still a little gun shy from the accident, but just knowing my car will go 180mph is enough to make you relax and just enjoy the ride.
