You sound like you are working like crazy right now, but the transition to doing this full time is quite the lifestyle change. I've seen it work out for some people, while others just can't handle the "freedom" that this work brings. I was in the same boat as you, and I was able to take a leave of absence from my job. I had up to a year off, but after 3 months I handed in my notice realizing this was what I wanted to do full time, and there was nothing that could ever make me go back to the "safety" net.
