While determination and some smartness are required for both areas, some of the keys for corporate success include social acumen, knowing how to resolve potential dispute situations before they get personal and of course ‘image management’ (at the same time as being an active team player and working hard, coaching, leading and all that nonsense)

IMO most of the affiliates you refer to would utterly fail in the corporate setting, however ‘smart’ they considered themselves there is just not the maturity in interpersonal situations which is a pre-requisite in business being demonstrated.

Unfotunately the fighy-bitey brigade create the noise which appears to stop many of the experienced affiliates (including yourself) and a long list of others from sharing more of their insights, this is everyones loss.

Anyway, just my 2p… I also think you should take critisism on the forums a little less personally by the way… nothing personal meant by this you understand ;o)
