PokerStrategy.com Trying to Scam Webmasters

Well this isn’t ground breaking news, the semi-well known Poker company called PokerStrategy.com has been sending threatening letters to Gaming Affiliates over the last couple years. These letters threaten legal action if webmaster do not turn over their domains and websites for FREE. Now I did legal work when I was in the corporate world, and I’m certainly not surprised that some over zealous Lawyers will do. What does surprise me is that not only have they continue to throw a bunch of legal jargon in an email, but webmasters fearing serious legal issues actually have turned their domains over to this company. Been a while since I posted anything good, and I was about to post a “Merry Christmas” to everyone, and wish everyone a happy new year and all that jazz. Then Dusty sent me this link to a Forbes Magazine article which says the US Department of Justice has apparently changed their position on Internet Poker. I would be lying if I said I wasn’t very excited reading this. Since 75% of m income comes from gaming related businesses, I would love to see the right thing done, and people allowed to play poker.
