Once again, I’m starting this post not exactly sure what I want to write about. Things have been going great with my websites, income is growing every month, and I just totally enjoy working my ass off making it happen. First off, I must give a super huge shout out to my wife, Durana, who I finally convinced to quit her job working for the state and stay home and work with me. She is writing top notch content right now for a new site I bought Poker Bonuses. So, far this has been a great decision for both of us. We are getting more done each day then I ever could alone and she is a big reason why our income has essentially double in 2009.
We are doing gaming and non-gaming websites and after fighting with SEO giants in gaming, non-gaming SEO is a cake walk. We just bought a new site that was one of our main competitors, the site is Always Twilight The nice lady who built this site worked very hard on it and had some nice content. It was a strategic move buying it, but I’m confident it will pay off. We have already increased our adsense revenue by 40% because of it. So it is a quick ROI for us.
The gaming side of our business is doing great like I said, I’m having my kick ass programmer, Eric, make some nice changes to one of our next earning sites which is centered around Poker Rakeback. It makes me a bit nervous messing with a good thing, but taking risks is essential to this business. I hear so many affiliates talking about being afraid of changing their site because it’s doing good. But if you look at it logically, the only reason you would NOT change your site or try to improve it, is if you were convinced it has hit a critical mass of visitors and converisons.
Obviously, this is almost impossible if you ask me, even looking at poker listings or another major site they are always adjusting to the market and making improvements. That is why they are the best. Another example is Tightpoker.com who recently changed the entire design of their website. If you think your website is too good to change, you need a reality check.
So, I guess the point of this post is to get out there, quit thinking about big ideas, quit making excuses, quit worrying about the worst case senario, and say “Yes We Can”!
Now, go make it happen~
