Busy November – The Month of Drama
Well November has been a rough month, but things are going good all around. Working in the corporate world at a job I love, and then coming home to working on my sites can be challenging. My wife works full time as well, and combined with the kids crazy schedule we have been exhausted. My wife decided it was time for a date last weekend, she found a babysitter, and the first night out in 4 months was set!
Went ditched/dropped off the kids and we drove to a town about 40 miles from here and ate a nice dinner, shopped after wards, and then came home to watch a movie. It was very relaxing and a well timed rest. spending time with my wife who is honestly my best friend, is always a blast! I’m really not sure how the hell she tolerates me. 
Since our “date” we have both been refreshed and feeling much better.
PAP Explosion
Well, some of the people who read this already knwo what went down at Poker Affiliate Programs last week. I’ve seen plenty of forum drama over the last couple years on several forums. the funny thing about this “drama bomb” is that I think it was totally intentional.
Cardspike Debacle
It’s ironic that the issue that sparked the fire on PAP was the Cardspike Poker thread. Which is pretty funny because that is the same company that owes me over $5,000 since I started promoting them. It doesn’t look like I’m going to see my money either. They posted on PAP that their backend numbers may not be right, and affiliates may not be owed what our statements say… Which is a major WTF!!!
I don’t want to get into a bashing Cardspike post though, I’m trying to stay positive now. Whatever happens is pretty much beyond my control. that is one of the risks in this or any other business. all you can do is work through it and not allow yourself to get too distracted form your goals.
I’m pretty excited about 2009 which is about a month away now and I have some big plans for my sites and some ideas for new sites and niche ideas. There are so ways to make money online, it’s truly mind boggling. Although, not all ideas the world or web is ready for. Not all ideas I can do because of my time restrictions. So many possibilities though.
Well, this post is starting to ramble. I’ll try and post somehting a little more focused tomorrow.
