It’s been a while since I posted, so I thought I’d throw up a quick post and update some projects we have been working on. So far 2010 is set to me an awesome year all around. I dare say this will be the year of Rakeback lol. I know people hate to hear that, but even pokerstars is targeting Rakeback terms now, so it is what it is. Read More

Arkansas Snow Storm 2010
This year has started off super busy and super cold! It started snowing here on Thursday and it is still snowing at 2:37am on Saturday! I’m not sure how much snow we have so far, but it has to be close to two feet now, with a 1/4-1/2 of ice below it. I’ve never seen this much snow here, it reminds me of my few years living in Alaska. Im Going To be a Millionaire
Yes that’s right, I’m going to be a millionaire! It sounds so weird to say, mainly because I know it is going to happen. No nobody is giving me a million dollars, I have not wont he lottery, and I’m not getting a big inheritance (would be nice). I’m going to make this money, and by the time I hit forty (8 years from now) I’m going to be a millionaire. This is a big goal, but one I know I will hit and it feels great! Read More

Website Tools You must have in 2010
I wanted to take a minute and post about a few tools that I have found to be super important to me over 2009. I’ve learned so much this year, but one of the most important things I’ve learned is that there is literally a dozen tools that not only make my life easier, but they also help me make money. Now I’m the type of guy that hates wasting money, every dime counts to me. So I always use demo trials and one month memberships to ensure I don’t pay hundreds of dollars on a tool or service that I’ll never use. So, check these out and I promise you it will be worth it. New Projects and A Vacation
I think I have finally hit “the wall” as I just feel super tired lately and it’s time for a break. The wife and I are leaving the kids with my parents and heading to Tunica, MS to stay a few nights in a suite at the “Gold Strike” casino. I’m going to try really hard to not work this week, but I know I’ll end up doing something. I just started a new website Online Poker Rakeback and I’ve teamed up with Jeremy Enke to put on a Poker SEO Radio show and our first show will be sometime this week. With such cool projects, going to be a real challenge to not work. Read More
Email Marketing and Adsense
I don;t have a plan for this post, so I’m just going to ramble a few things on my mind lol. The Poker Affiliate business is like a huge roller coaster and since I spend most of my time planning, I figured I would just “let it flow” with this post. Overall things have been going really well for me and my business. As usual I’ve gotten super lucky and I had a guy I know ask to intern with me for a while, this dude is awesome and best of all he has taught me some things. Check out his new site Steelers Gear (btw Greg you need to add the “www”) Read More
Greed and Business Ethics
One thing will never change in the businessmen world….Greed! It never ceases to amaze me that some people/companies especially in the Rakeback market are driven not by providing value or great service, but cold hard cash. Now, don’t get me wrong we are all in the business to make money and grow our business. But like everything in life you have to be willing to give in order to get. We have all seen tons of 2+2 and other forums posts about some shady rakeback affiliate refusing to pay players or deciding to cut their rates, and obviously this is a destructive long term strategy. I almost decided not to even post this, but I know other affiliates have had to to deal with this same issue and decision. Most of this post is just me rambling about concerns and options. Read More
Distractions
I’ve spent years in corporate America, and the last 4-5 years in the affiliate business. The skills needed to survive in Corporate America are the same skills needed to survive as a small business owner. There is a few things they both have in common: Read More
